Hey James,

My Elastix machine recongnize the ISDN Card but I dont know how to configure the outbound call and the inbound call. I rode Without Tears but they only use PSTN for example not ISDN.

The 4 red leds are blinken so the driver is loaded correctly

1 mISDN compatible device(s) found:
>> BN4S0

But why doenst show b400p?

hi:
the system is running with a B400P. the elastix Without Tears does not show the conf for B400P, you check with this:
http://www.openvox.cn/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=752
please make sure change to 4 ports instead of 8 ports in that thread. yes, it is a BN4SO card. if you run dmesg, you will see more info about openvox B400P.

One fast question...

"We have to edit the "/etc/asterisk/misdn.conf" file to activate all 8 ports. Open the "/etc/asterisk/misdn.conf" file and
from the end of file remove/comment the below mentioned lines"

So do i must delete the comments or leave it and add:

16.
And add the below lines at the end of "/etc/asterisk/misdn.conf"

[isdn_openvox]
; define your ports, e.g. 1,2 (depends on mISDN-driver loading order)
ports=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
; context where to go to when incoming Call on one of the above ports
msns=*
context=from-pstn

hi:
yes, you can change to this:
=======================
[isdn_openvox]
; define your ports, e.g. 1,2 (depends on mISDN-driver loading order)
ports=1,2,3,4; for your case
; context where to go to when incoming Call on one of the above ports
msns=*
context=from-pstn
==================
